When you first come across with the title The VERY best of British. You might be thinking either something BAD or GOOD I'm referring to the British. Well, actually none of it.
Yesterday someone sent me a web link about the slang that have been using in the British. Well, I've been in the UK for about a year, but seriously, I'm still learning about their culture and their slang. Mostly or most of the time there's problem when it comes to communicate with the British - Their Slang!! Sometimes I'll misunderstand on what are they talking and I don't even understand. I do feels like I look like a fool sometimes. Well, if you encounter the same problem as I do, try and check it out this page this might help you to understand a little more about the British Slang: The very best of British. Its a looooooonnnngg list there. Hope you won't fall asleep!
There's one slang that particularly stuck in head : Bob's your uncle - This is a well used phrase. It is added to the end of sentences a bit like and that's it! Well, I don't really understand why should it be Bob's your uncle mean something AND THAT'S IT??? Clearly, there's still a lot of thing that I need to learn. Hmmmmmm....
